Sometimes I Write My Thoughts. "3am"
3am is a weird time. It’s that odd time where feelings
and life itself seem most vulnerable. At 2am, you’re still pretty awake from
yesterday and are more hyper than sensitive. At 4am, you could be waking up
and preparing for tomorrow, with yesterday long behind you. But at 3am, you
are neither closer to yesterday or tomorrow. You are simply in between, in
limbo. You’re getting sleepy, but at the same time you don’t really want to
sleep for of a number of reasons, but you know it’s inevitable. So then
your eyes may get heavy and your mind may start to wander into its
philosophical depths, but you’re still not really asleep. Your mind lets you
think about things that 2am and 4am don’t usually let you think about. 3am
can either be the best or the worst time, depending on the circumstances.
